In 2017 Pond Hopper Nation sent Robert Dunphy aka The Traveling Fisherman down to Moby Dick's Private Fishing Pond, which is about 20 minutes southeast of Austin, Texas. Robert did an amazing interview with owner Andy Markoff and captured the moment in this awesome video below!
Pond Hopper Nation was planning and working with Andy Markoff to establish a Family Fishing Event, which was to be added to Pond Hopper Nation's 2020 Nationwide tour schedule, but 2020 hit with the Covid-19 Pandemic and things had to be put on hold.
Pond Hopper Nation is excited to announce a partnership between Outcast Landing & Moby Dick's Private Fishing Pond Owner Andy Markoff and CEO/Founder of Pond Hopper Nation Albert Talafuse came to an agreement that in 2023 Pond Hopper Nation will work with Outcast Landing & Moby Dick's Private Fishing Pond to establish & host a series of fishing tournaments with a big end of year Championship, Family Fishing Event, and host the 2023 Pond Hopper Nation Meet Up. More details will be posted about these events in late fall of 2022.
